About Ronald McDonald House of Durham & Wake
Below is an overview of the projects we are supporting on the platform, their status as well status updates for projects that have been funded
RMH of Durham Wake is the only program in the Triangle that supports seriously ill or injured children and their families with residential and in-hospital respite support in Raleigh-Durham.
Ronald McDonald Houses offer a welcoming place to stay for parents, siblings, and other family members of sick kids. Families are provided home-cooked meals and snacks as well as emotional and social support.

In-Hospital Respite for Caregivers:
Ronald McDonald Family Rooms offer free meals and snacks along with the conveniences of home to parents and caregivers just steps from a sick or injured child's bedside. Parents may take advantage of free laundry services, a hot shower, or a quiet place for contemplation in a non-medical setting while still on the hospital's pediatric floor.

All RMH services are provided without charge. Families who are able may make a donation to Ronald McDonald House, but no family is ever denied hospitality based on the ability to make a donation. Our community partners (like Credit Suisse!) make this possible.
Built with love, Ronald McDonald House of Durham & Wake offers a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families.
