Our Values
We are narrowing the disadvantage gap by supporting all parents and carers to engage in their children’s learning.
We do this by providing an online platform for schools, and by leading a group of organisations to improve home learning across the sector.
To motivate and empower families to have enjoyable learning experiences together.
The initial spark for Learning with Parents came when Tom Harbour was teaching in a school in Leicester.
Through completing a Masters researching parental engagement, Tom saw what an important role parents have in supporting their child’s learning.
From the start, Learning with Parents has aimed to support all children, with a particular focus on motivating and empowering the most disadvantaged families.
